UN report urges investment in nature to reduce global drought costs

As droughts driven by environmental degradation and climate change threaten to impact three-quarters of the global population by 2050, a new report presented at COP16 of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) highlights the economic importance of sustainable land and water management.
